A crown protects a damaged or weakened tooth and restores it to full function.

What Is a Dental Crown?

A crown is a cap that covers the entire visible portion of a tooth, from the gumline up. It restores the tooth's shape, size, strength, and appearance. Crowns are one of the most common and reliable restorations in dentistry.

  3. Second visit: the temporary is removed, the permanent crown is checked for fit and color, and then cemented in place
  4. Dr. Sandhu adjusts the bite and answers any questions before you leave
